Jones began her track career in 2005 when she graduated from university. In 2005, she was the winner of the Torino Memorial race, in 2006 she was the Heusden and Ostrava athletes.

Growing up within Cape Town South Africa Brandt immigrated with her family to Auckland New Zealand in her late teens. Brandt was noticed by casting directors from her hometown and took the part as Naevia in the Starz hit Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. With producers Steven S. D Knight (Sam Raimi) and Steven S. D Knight (Steven S. D Knight), she became an instant success. Mazikeen was a cult comic book character on Vertigo/DC, and she played her in the Netflix hit series Lucifer for six years. Forbes recognized Lucifer in 2021 as the series with the most number of binge watchers. Brandt is set to next appear alongside Andrew Lincoln in the limited Walking Dead 6 episode spin-off scheduled to air in 2024. Brandt is also set to star alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni in the adult animated show Captain Fall which airs July 2023 on Netflix. Lesley Ann Brandt was born on December 2, in Cape Town in South Africa. She is one talented New Zealander performer. Lesley Brandt moved with her whole family from New Zealand into Auckland in 1999. She began her career in Auckland as a retailer after which she was promoted to an IT management consultant. Lesley started out modeling after which she began appearing in commercials. She graduated with a major in acting in the year 2008. In 2009 she began studying in Meisner Methods of Study. The first time she was a prominent actor, her job was in the TV drama series Diplomatic Immunity in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt was a guest supporting actress on New Zealand's TV drama Shortland Street. She also appeared on a sci-fi drama arrangement This Is Not My Life based on the anecdotal city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the TV series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. She later portrayed the role in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
