Sutton Foster is an award-winning artist, performer and dancer who has performed in 11 Broadway shows - most recently the revival of Violet and the originating characters in Broadway performances that include The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and her Tony Award-winning performance in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Star Search at the tender age of fifteen She has also appeared in Bunheads and Psych. Solo artist Sutton has performed across the country. Sutton has appeared across the US and internationally, as well as together with the musical direction of Michael Rafter... with songs from her debut solo CD "Wish" and her follow up CD "An Evening With Sutton Foster: Live at the Cafe Carlyle." The singer has appeared on stage at Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, the Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub among others. She was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in 2011 at Ball State University, where she is also advisor and faculty member for the Department of Theatre and Dance. Her newest TVLand series, "Younger," created by Darren Star began airing in March of this year.
