Srushti Deshmukh began to prepare for the UPSC entry in her 3rd year of her engineering degree. After her graduation she was unsure if she could be happy in the engineering role. It was later discovered the dream job she wanted was working in the civil service. She decided to pursue this. Parents encouraged her to become civil servants and seek a career in public service. Within a little over a month and half it was time to prepare for her exam in engineering and completely avoided all social media. The focus she believes is essential to clear the test to get a government job, and to be eligible for a job within the civil service. She aimed to pass this test on her first attempt and has put in lots of hard work. Every day, she went through the news to stay on top of the latest news.
