Meredith Salenger
Salenger has been raised and lived in Malibu. When she was a kid, she loved acting in front of family and friends. She was 8 years old when her mother registered her in her first course of acting. Her first performance was as a 'singing and dancing orphan' in the feature film Annie directed by John Huston. Salenger is also part of a few television commercials. The first time she was the main character as a character in The Disney production The Journey of Natty Gann featuring John Cusack and Ray Wise and was the very first US film to receive the gold award during the Moscow Film Festival. Additionally, she was awarded "Best Female Actress in a drama" at the Youth in Film Awards in honor of her role in the fun-loving Natty. When she was 18 she starred in another four films, among them A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon. After that she moved to Harvard in order to further her education.
