Jazmine Sullivan

JazmineJazmine Marie, born April 9, 1987 in Philadelphia was an American R&B and soul singer. The native of Philadelphia the album she released her debut, Fearless was released in 2008. It topped Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. There were four songs that were recorded, including "Need U Good" (which was in the Top 40 of the Hot 100 chart of Billboard) along with "Bust Your Windows" the first single by Sullivan and only #1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. Her second album, Love Me Back in 2010, followed. It received a positive reception by critics. After a hiatus of three year, Sullivan signed with RCA Records. In 2015 she dropped Reality Show, her first studio album. It became her first to reach number 1 in the Top R&B Albums Charts. In 2021, she debuted her critically acclaimed EP, Heaux Tales which has the track "Pick up Your emotions". Sullivan received 2 Grammy Awards and a Billboard Women in Music Award. She also received 3 NAACP Image Awards and 2 BET Awards. Time declared her one of their 100 Most Influential Persons in 2022.
