Allyson Felix was born on November 18, 1985, is an American track and field player representing the U.S. in dozens of sporting events like the Olympics, World Championships, World Indoor Championships, and the Diamond League. Her career in athletics has seen her take home 21 gold medals six silver, and 3 bronze medals. Felix began sprinting in her 9th grade year. She is one of the most decorated track and field athletes. Allyson Nicole Felix was born November 18, 1985, at Los Angeles. She was the daughter of Paul Felix, was ordained as a as a minister in the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley and her mother, Marlean Felix, was a school teacher for Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix was athletically inclined since the age of a child. Her athletic talent started to show when she was attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix finished second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship in only 10 weeks after her very first tryout.
